Haim Ravia and Dotan Hammer author Israel chapter in The Privacy, Data Protection and Cybersecurity Law Review

Law.co.il's Haim Ravia (Senior Partner at Pearl Cohen Zedek Latzer Baratz) and Dotan Hammer (Senior Associate at Pearl Cohen Zedek Latzer Baratz) have recently authored the exclusive Israel chapter in the second edition of The Privacy, Data Protection and Cybersecurity Law Review.

In their chapter, Haim and Dotan review legal trends and developments in the Israeli data protection, privacy and cyber regime in 2015, presenting and discussing topics such as recent high-profile data breaches in Israel, employee privacy in Israel, public and private enforcement of Israeli data protection and privacy law, Israeli regulators’ guidelines on cloud computing and cyber-defense, international data transfers under Israeli law, and the implications that the recent CJEU’s invalidation of the US-EU “Safe Harbor” program has had on Israel.
